Telling Stories That Matter: Lot 318 Fundraiser Video
Every once in a while, a story comes along that reminds you exactly why you do what you do. That is what this project with Lot 318 turned into for us.
We first connected with Lot 318 through a mutual friend, and the more we learned about the work they are doing in their community, the more we knew we wanted to help them share it. When they told us about Maria’s journey and how Letty became a part of it, we were all in.
This was not just about showcasing a nonprofit. It was about capturing what it looks like when someone chooses to consistently show up for others and what God can do through faithfulness and relationship.
Pre Production: Story First
From the beginning, we knew this story needed to feel real, human, and full of hope. After spending sometime with Maria and Letty at a coffee shop to hear the full story, we built a simple storyboard and shot list. Just enough structure to guide the shoot without making it feel stiff or overly produced. We planned out the interviews, mapped out Maria’s daily rhythm, and made space for those small, powerful in between moments that speak without words.
Production: One Day
We shot everything in one full day, working closely with Maria and Letty to make sure they felt at ease and supported on camera. We followed them through their routines, from home to school to community. What we captured was the kind of quiet resilience and connection that speaks to their characters. Their strength and humility made the day incredibly special. It was one of those shoots where the story just pours out.
The Final Film
Our favorite part was hearing Lot 318’s response. They loved the final film and have been using it to share their mission and invite others into the impact they are making.
This is what Wyld Story is all about. Real people. Real hope. Stories that are deeply human and full of purpose. Huge thanks to Lot 318 for trusting us with such a meaningful project.
