Jake Gyllenhaal in Beijing: Exclusive BTS with Sony Pictures

About The Project

Jake Gyllenhaal in Beijing
Behind-the-Scenes Social for Sony Pictures
Spider-Man: Far From Home Press Tour

When Sony Pictures was gearing up for the global release of Spider-Man: Far From Home, they wanted something a little different for the Beijing stop on the press tour. Not just another highlight reel. They were looking for behind-the-scenes content that felt personal, unfiltered, and in-the-moment—something fans hadn’t seen before.

That’s when Jake Gyllenhaal reached out to Arcade Edit, a top-tier post-production company we've always respected. They pointed him to us. After checking out our work, Jake invited Wyld Story to come alongside him in Beijing for the weekend.

We packed light and moved fast—no massive crew, no complicated setups. Just a couple of cameras, a clear creative vision, and a knack for finding real moments. Over two fast-paced days, we captured everything from fan meet-and-greets to candid hotel hangs with Jake and Tom Holland. It was all shot run-and-gun style: cinematic, clean, and completely rooted in what was actually happening.

By the end of the weekend, the edit was already wrapped and ready to post. Sony had content that felt fresh, immediate, and true to the energy of the tour—not overly produced or filtered through layers of approvals. Just real moments, told simply and well.

This project captures what we love most about what we do—telling real stories as they unfold. Whether it's a global film release or a local launch, we bring the same approach: stay nimble, stay honest, and stay focused on the heart of the story.

Need behind-the-scenes content that actually shows what’s happening behind the scenes? Let’s talk.
