The Supply Line
Film Project with Gospel Patrons | The Story of John Davenport
At Wyld Story, we’re passionate about telling stories of purpose—stories that reflect generosity, faith, and people living out their calling. The Supply Line is one of those stories.
This film, produced by Gospel Patrons, shares the remarkable journey of John Davenport and his family. Starting from humble beginnings in North Carolina, John founded a civil engineering firm that grew into a successful business. But for John, success wasn’t the end of the story. His heart was convicted to use the resources God had entrusted to him to advance the Gospel. His life is an extraordinary example of what it means to be a Gospel Patron—quietly supporting the spread of the Good News through generosity and stewardship.
Wyld Story was invited to be part of the crew for this project, joining the team on location in North Carolina for a week of production. Our role included drone operation, second camera work, and production assistance. It was an honor to work alongside a talented team led by director John Rinehart and producer Gospel Patrons, bringing this story to life with intentionality and care.
The film highlights not just John’s business success, but his faithfulness in using what he’s been given to make an eternal impact. It’s a story that reminds us of the important role generosity plays in advancing the Gospel, and how God calls each of us to be part of that story in different ways.
Being part of The Supply Line reflects Wyld Story’s heartbeat—to support meaningful storytelling and collaborate with teams who are making a difference.
