Aidan + Kelsey | A Wedding in the Olive Orchard

This one was seriously so special.

Yesterday we had the absolute best time celebrating Aidan and Kelsey out in the orchards on his family’s property in Templeton. Everything about the day felt intentional, personal, and God honoring. These two really care about making Him the center of it all, and it showed.

They took communion right before saying their vows (cue the tears), and so many of the speeches talked about how inspiring their faith is. Multiple people straight-up said their relationship makes them want to follow Jesus better. I mean come on, how cool is that?

Aidan and Kelsey’s story is so fun. They met at youth group the same night they both started serving. Aidan had just moved to SLO and was hoping to find a great girl to date but was starting to lose hope…and then boom, there was Kelsey. He told his friends she was the most beautiful girl he’d ever seen. A year later, he proposed at the cross on his parents’ hilltop with all their people there cheering them on. Even his grandma was watching from her house and snapping pics 🥹

The whole wedding day took place right there on the family’s land, which made everything feel so meaningful. From the getting ready moments to their golden hour portraits in the orchard; so much of their relationship was built in that space, and it was honestly such an honor to capture.

Also… the DANCE PARTY. Unreal. A bunch of the Hume Lake crew was there, and they brought all the energy. Add in the fact that most of the groomsmen played college soccer and you’ve got a guaranteed great time on the dance floor. That party could’ve gone all night 😂

We snuck away for sunset photos on the hill by the cross (same spot where he proposed!) and the light was insane. Like, those dreamy creamy colors you hope for on a wedding day. We’re obsessed with the photos we got and can’t wait to edit and color them!

Aidan + Kelsey, you two are such a joy. Your day was full of purpose, peace, and pure fun. Your family was so kind and welcoming, and you made everyone feel like they belonged. We’re so stoked for your life ahead; and so grateful we got to document the start of it.
