Our Wyld Story (Part 2): What We’re Creating Beyond Weddings
If you’ve read our origin story, you know Wyld Story was born working at a camp called Hume Lake in Sequoia National Park where we met, fell in love, and lived for three years together. We launched this business believing in the power of storytelling: capturing the moments that matter most and sharing stories that inspire.
And while we started out primarily as wedding photographers and videographers, this past year has taken us far beyond the weddings. We wanted to share a glimpse into what we’ve been working on lately. These projects have stretched us, fired us up, and reminded us why we started Wyld Story in the first place.
Paradise Tree Service | San Luis Obispo
We recently partnered with Paradise Tree Service to create a marketing video showcasing their cutting-edge tree removal equipment (some of the most advanced in the industry). This wasn’t just a video project; it was a chance to capture a local business making waves in their field, and we loved getting to tell their story up the coast in San Luis Obispo.
Solar Insure | Orange County
As an Orange County wedding photographer and videographer team, it’s been exciting to branch into commercial work right in our backyard. We are partnering with Solar Insure to produce a suite of videos including a homepage value proposition film, product video, and social media edits all to help them simplify their message and stand out in a competitive industry.
GTI | Global Travel + Biblical Tours
Working with GTI Tours has been one of the most adventurous parts of this year. Tucker’s traveled with them to Germany and Saudi Arabia, is scheduled to edit footage from their England and Scotland trip, and will be heading to Greece and Rome this fall to film a biblical tour through some of the most historic places in Scripture. We’ve loved capturing these travel stories and watching this footage connect people with the places that shaped their faith.
Maggie Brascia | Pro Pickleball Documentary
After our documentary Brascia Nation about pro pickleball player Mary Brascia, we’re beyond excited to follow her sister Maggie Brascia’s journey in the professional pickleball world. This upcoming documentary will spotlight Maggie’s story and we can’t wait to share it!
Check out Mary’s Story!
Logos Healing Institute | Colorado
This August, we’re flying to Colorado to work with Logos Healing Institute, a non-profit offering trauma therapy through wilderness-based experiences. We’ll be joining one of their wildness encounter programs, creating content that not only captures their healing retreats but also provides training resources for other clinicians. It’s a deeply meaningful project and one we’re honored to help tell.
Still a Wedding Photographer and Videographer at Heart
Even as Wyld Story continues to expand into commercial and brand storytelling, we’ll always love capturing weddings. In fact, we’re currently a preferred wedding vendor at a beautiful venue in Idyllwild and at two wineries in Temecula. We have several weddings coming up this season! If you’re looking for an affordable Orange County wedding photographer or need a photographer and videographer for your wedding, we’d love to connect.
The Bigger Picture
When we started Wyld Story, we dreamed of a business rooted in meaningful work and we’re stoked to continue pursuing it! From South Orange County weddings to international travel documentaries and commercial video shoots, storytelling continues to be the heart of everything we do.
Thanks for following along on this journey. Here’s to what’s ahead. Come say hi to us in San Clemente!
P.S. If you’re planning a wedding, launching a brand, or have a story that needs to be told send us a message! Let’s make something rad together.
